The carryall is our largest leather tote bag, and that extra room makes it even more versatile than our standard leather totes. This tote has two exterior pockets, one of our most-requested features. While we've traditionally made carryalls with 9-inch handles, we've heard from customers who would prefer the handles longer or shorter. So you can choose among 7-inch, 9-inch, or 11-inch handles (and carryalls with any of those options are eligible for return or exchange).

The Kodiak line is comprised of our most popular leathers, with a luxurious pebbled texture and soft, slouchy temper. Occasional scratches, range marks, variations in color, grain irregularities, and other imperfections are a natural part of this leather, and the leather will show wear and acquire a patina as you carry your bag. As with all darker color oil tanned leathers, some color transfer may occur, especially onto lighter colored materials. 

+ HOW IT'S MADE

The carryall is a time-consuming tote to make -- but every step is worth it. The magic begins on our cutting table, where each piece of this large tote bag is carefully cut from premium-quality leather. The gusset is riveted together so that it can never fall apart.

Next, the bag gets assembled on an industrial sewing machine. And then, we attach the handles to the bag with hand-set copper rivets. That’s about when a piece of leather becomes a bag, and it’s never going to be the same.

The carryall is an heirloom-worthy leather tote because you’ll never have to buy another one -- and because it will wear in and acquire a patina. This tote will age into a one-of-a-kind vintage bag, comfortable enough to serve as an everyday bag but capacious enough to carry all the essentials for an overnight away from home. And like every KMM & Co. product, it’s going to show wear and scratches. Leather is a natural material, and we like ours to age beautifully.

We want your carryall to be perfect for you, so we offer a variety of ways to customize your bag. While we've traditionally made carryalls with 9-inch handles, we've heard from customers who would prefer the handles longer or shorter. You can also add matching accessories to your carryall: a small zip pouch, medium zip pouch (or a set of both zip pouches), or an envelope clutch.
