Move over, Tan, Brown, and Black! KMM & Co. is debuting five new colors of our beloved Kodiak leather, the softest and slouchiest leather in our lineup. We love our existing Kodiak colors, and they aren't going anywhere. But we're so excited to introduce you to the newest members of the Kodiak family!
Red Kodiak
If you're looking for a statement-making color for fall, Red Kodiak just might be the right Kodiak for you! You can shop leather totes, mini totes, clutches, wallets, and accessories made of Red Kodiak leather here.
Color profile: Red Kodiak is a true red, with a dramatic and high-contrast pull-up (the way the leather lightens in areas of stress and wear). It has a prominent grain. And for all you color nerds, Red Kodiak is a blue-red instead of an orange-red. You can see the red color on both sides of the leather.
Similar colors: We haven't had a lot of red leathers, with the exception of a few limited-edition colors like Ruby Red. The most similar color in our permanent collection is Oxblood, and the orange tones of Autumn Harvest also put it in the same color family as Red Kodiak. Both are much more structured than Red Kodiak.
Purple Kodiak
Love purple? Then you can't go wrong with Purple Kodiak, which might just be our favorite purple leather yet! You can shop leather totes, mini totes, clutches, wallets, and accessories made of Purple Kodiak leather here.
Color profile: Purple Kodiak is rich plum purple, with dramatic pull-up and the beautiful pebbled texture you've come to know and love with other Kodiak leathers. It has a prominent grain and a warm tone, and the purple color is visible all the way through the leather, including on the purple suede side.
Similar colors: If you're looking for purple, you've likely seen Orchid. Orchid and Purple Kodiak are very different: Orchid has a glossy finish and smooth grain, while Purple Kodiak has a matte finish and pebbled grain. And Orchid is a cool hue with blue undertones, while Purple Kodiak is a warm hue with red undertones.
Navy Kodiak
You can't get much more classic than navy blue. And Navy Kodiak is the navy blue leather we've always wanted! You can shop leather totes, mini totes, clutches, wallets, and accessories made of Navy Kodiak leather here.
Color profile: Navy Kodiak is a rich and saturated navy blue. It's a relatively dark navy, with lighter color coming through in the pull-up that emerges in areas of wear and stress. Like other Kodiak leathers, it has a prominent, pebbled grain, and you can see the blue color on both sides of the leather.
Similar colors: KMM & Co. stocks a few other Navy leathers. The other option for leather totes is a glossy Navy blue that has a tight grain and a tan suede. The Navy tote is also much more structured than the Navy Kodiak tote, which, like other Kodiak colors, is supple and slouchy.
Olive Kodiak
We've always considered olive green an underrated neutral. Olive Kodiak delivers, with a hue you can pair with your whole fall wardrobe! You can shop leather totes, mini totes, clutches, wallets, and accessories made of Olive Kodiak leather here.
Color profile: Olive Green is a warm olive, with beautiful pebbled grain and high-contrast pull-up that will emerge as you carry your tote, clutch, or wallet. While some olive greens look brown or muddy, this one is light enough in color to actually look green. And it has an olive suede side, too!
Similar colors: People who love green have a few color choices at KMM & Co. We make some of our wallets in Olive bridle leather. If you're shopping for a tote or clutch, you might also consider Victorian Green, which has a glossy finish, smooth grain, and structured temper.
Grey Kodiak
The final addition to the Kodiak leather lineup? Grey Kodiak, which works both as a neutral and as a statement color. You can shop leather totes, mini totes, clutches, wallets, and accessories made of Grey Kodiak leather here.
Color profile: Grey Kodiak is a beautiful medium grey, with a slightly warm tone and gorgeous, high-contrast pull-up that emerges with wear and use. As with other Kodiak leathers, Grey Kodiak has a pebbled grain and a slouchy temper. The grey color is also visible all the way through the leather.
Similar colors: We've stocked a few limited-edition grey leathers over the years. Currently, we offer Storm Grey, which is a darker grey leather with a waxed finish. Storm Grey is much more structured (and much heavier) than Grey Kodiak, and would be a good choice if you prefer a tote that will hold its shape when empty.
