Oxblood Mini Travel Journal
Our new Mini Travel Journal is a shrunken down medium sized notebook cover that holds three 3.5" x 5" notebooks. It's made by hand in our Atlanta, Ga studio and features a coordinating elastic cord closure, hand painted edges, and solid brass grommets for reinforcement. Whether you write, draw, paint, or make lists, this is the perfect way to organize your ideas.

ABOUT THE LEATHER
Oxblood is a custom leather that we had made from our friends at Seidel Tanning Co. It's a waxy hot stuffed leather that has a medium tempter and smooth feel. Seidel has been making great leathers here in the USA for generations and we are honored to use their sides.
PERSONALIZATION
Want to make it a little more personal? We offer complimentary embossing on almost all of our products! The monogram on the Travel Journal is subtly placed on the bottom right of the cover. The font is Times New Roman and stands about 1/4" tall. Please not that all personalized items are final sale and are not eligible for return or exchange.

First off, it's handmade of full-grain leather. That's the highest quality leather made, and we stock more (and brighter!) colors than just about anyone else.

With space for three pocket notebooks, you can mix and match your favorites. This one includes three ruled notebooks, but you can go crazy and put one with a grid in there (we won't judge.)

There are so many ways to add a little flair to your new Travel Journal. Charms, stamps, patches etc, the nicknack world is your oyster. While flair is not mandatory, we do recommend at least three pieces so you can tell your journal apart from your friends'.

Hemingway suggested that you should write drunk and edit sober, and we think he would have liked a travel journal made out of Horween English Tan Dublin leather.
How the TRAVEL JOURNAL gets made
The Travel Journal, like everything else in the KMM & Co. collection is made by hand. Each one is cut from a single piece of full grain leather. 13 holes are punched, one at a time, and 13 solid brass grommets are hand-set, one at a time. Next we measure, cut, and install the elastic cord, and then finish the edges of the leather with a matching edge paint for a polished look. Our final step is to emboss our logo onto the back of the journal, and your initials on the front if you want to make it your own. From there, the journal evolves with you: It starts as a beautiful blank canvas, and it's up to you to fill it with your story.
