Like every KMM & Co. bag, the medium crossbody bag is handmade of amazing full-grain leather. That's the highest quality leather made, and we make it a point to stock more (and brighter!) colors than just about anyone else.

2. Simple, thoughtful design

A great handbag should make your life simpler, and it shouldn't weigh you down. With one compartment and a solid brass YKK zipper (just like our classic crossbody bag!) the medium crossbody bag doesn't overcomplicate things. Plus, the D-rings are carefully placed to ensure that the bag hangs perfectly, no matter how much or how little you put inside.

3. Customizable strap options

You can choose among three different strap options for your crossbody bag. (We're a little biased, but we think that you can't go wrong with any of them!)

The classic crossbody strap, which adjust between 44 and 51 inches, is made of belting-weight leather, and its edges are beveled for decades of comfortable wear.
The chain link strap is made of interlocking links (in the same leather as the body of the bag) and is endlessly adjustable and customizable. It's a great option if you want the flexibility to wear your bag with a short shoulder strap today and a long crossbody strap tomorrow — just add or remove links!
The two-ply sewn strap is made of the same leather as the bag. It adjusts between 44 and 51 inches and is soft, beautifully stitched, and super comfortable to wear.

We think handbags should be fun — have you seen all the colors of leather we stock?! — but we're also serious about heirloom-quality materials and craftsmanship. Each crossbody bag is a labor of love. We choose to make your bag the old-fashioned way so that you can carry it for decades and watch it get more beautiful with age and wear.

Like every KMM & Co. accessory, the medium crossbody bag is handmade and made to order. (No warehouses, no factories, just a small studio in downtown Atlanta!) Each bag takes up to 3 weeks for us to make and ship – but it's worth the wait, we promise!

Easy returns within 30 days

How the medium crossbody bag gets made

Each bag is handmade in the USA (in our Atlanta studio)! It all begins on the cutting table, where we select the perfect side of full-grain leather for your crossbody bag. There's a front, a back, and a gusset, and we consider the color and grain of each piece.

Next, we carefully prepare a solid brass zipper and set it into the bag. (Our YKK zippers feature a big "donut pull" for ease of use!) After the zipper is tested, we assemble the body of the bag with strong backstitched seams and solid brass rivets.

Finally, we cut and assemble the crossbody strap: a belting-weight strap, a chain link strap, or a two-ply stitched strap made in the same leather as the bag. All of the hardware – solid brass D-rings and trigger snaps, plus copper rivets – will patina with use. We never use antiqued brass, which is painted or plated.
