Mark Your Calendar for Our Holiday Shipping Deadline! 👀

The holiday season is officially here! Now that Thanksgiving (and Black Friday) are behind us, we're counting down the days to Hanukkah, Christmas, and other special occasions that are coming up in December.

If you're thinking of gifting KMM & Co. products this holiday season, we're thrilled -- and we've got your back! Leather goods that are made by hand and made in America take some time to produce. But there are still a couple of weeks to place your order in time for holiday shipping. Here's what you need to know!

1. The last day to place an order is December 15!

This year, December 15 is the deadline to place an order in time for it to arrive by Christmas. After that point, we might not be able to make your items in time to ship them for holiday delivery. Everything at KMM & Co. is handmade and made to order, so it takes some time to produce and ship each order. All orders submitted prior to December 15 will ship in time to arrive before Christmas.

2. But the earlier, the better.

If you have a specific deadline in mind (especially a deadline other than December 24!), then it's a good idea to place your order as early as possible. We ship totes and other items in the order they were purchased, so we have only a limited ability to prioritize orders during the holiday rush. If you know that you're going to need your items in advance of the holiday, then place your order ASAP!

3. If you have a deadline, please let us know!

You can check our current processing times for the items you're considering. (Though if you place your order before December 15, then we will definitely be able to ship it in time for it to arrive before Christmas!) However, if you have a specific deadline, please reach out to hello@kmmco.com! We'll do our best to make and ship your order in time.

4. We can't offer shipping guarantees

The KMM & Co. team will do everything we can to ship your order in time for it to arrive by your deadline. But we can't offer shipping guarantees -- once we hand a shipment over to the USPS, it's literally (and figuratively) out of our hands. We can't control delays that the postal service might encounter. And if you run into trouble with a delay or an attempted delivery, we recommend first contacting the USPS, rather than the KMM & Co. team, for a quicker resolution.

5. Every order ships via the USPS

We ship all orders via the United States Postal Service. Large boxes ship via Priority Mail, and small packages ship via First Class Mail. While the shipping method does not affect our processing time, we might be able to upgrade your shipping method to Priority Mail Express for an additional fee. Please contact us at hello@kmmco.com ASAP if you'd like more details!

6. We’ll be taking some time off for the holidays

Once our last shipment goes to the Atlanta post office, the KMM & Co. team will be taking some time off for the holidays! We’re a small team — fewer than 10 people — and want our entire staff to be able to spend Christmas and New Year’s celebrating with their families, not working. Our staff, including the customer service team, will be out of the studio from December 20 to January 5. If you contact us during that time, we’ll get back to you ASAP once we’re back in the studio in the new year.
